Visual Identity

Inventory Smart was born from within the SkiandSea organization as a service to their clients needing a tailor-made system to remain on budget, organized, and accessible to all.

After the initial discovery process it was clear that this look and feel must reflect the functionality and confidence built into the inventory management system.
​
This new visual identity is smart, clean, confident, and innovative. Everything one would need from a product is now found in this brand's presence.
​
To demonstrate the 'intelligence' of this SAAS, I experimented with different versions of logotypes, logomarks, and symbols. I maintained a clear focus on ensuring that the final logo would be both approachable and subtly clever.

The final mark reflects the logistics, communication, and real-time information that drive this management system.
The symbol contains a diamond from the negative space, a nod to Dahlgren Duck, it's parent company.



To accompany the new logo and symbol is a refreshed color palette; it was important to the client to keep some of the brand's legacy as the existing colors helped to establish the product's presence in the market. With this refresh also came a set of large symbols and a pattern all built from the primary brand symbol.




Regardless of the industry, Inventory Smart eliminates manual tasks and confusion in inventory management, leading to time and cost savings, enhanced staff, and improved customer satisfaction.
